The venue is not a chain — it is verifiable: the write-ahead log is the source of truth, matching is a pure deterministic state machine, and anyone can replay the log to recompute the exact state root the operator commits onchain. How Outcore works

Deposit onchain. Collateral lives in the Escrow contract — the venue never takes custody. Your deposit is credited to an engine account through the public write-ahead log.

Trade an outcome. OUTCOME-1 is a binary market: price is the probability of YES in ticks of 0.01%. Buying at 52.00% costs 5,200 per unit; selling (backing NO) escrows the other 4,800. Winner takes 10,000 per unit at resolution.

Orders are signed. Every place/cancel is signed with your ed25519 session key and matched in a deterministic engine (12M ops/s, 41ns median) under strict price-time priority.

State is provable. The operator commits a keccak merkle root of all balances onchain. Anyone can replay the public log and check it. If the operator halts or censors, forcedWithdraw pays you out against the last root — no permission needed.
